The PCW Bell

Things took a turn for the more prim and proper in the 1950s when the PCW Bell was introduced. She is all things feminine, all things polite and ladylike, all things that an incoming PCW Bell should strive to be. The PCW bell is a great example of how we see the old traditions being illustrated. The PCW bell arrives at campus where she receives her “dink” which appears to be traditional hats that freshmen were required to wear. In the years the bell is included, there are marvelous landscapes that give us a glimpse back into what it would have been like to attend PCW. And while things aren’t all that different, it certainly immerses us into the experience of a bell.
