About This Exhibit

The Chatham Student Handbooks: The Sketches of Chatham's Peronalities was created by McKenna DiRienzo during the fall of 2022.  Having provided assistance to the Chatham Archives in their efforts to provide online access to the Student Handbooks Collection, DiRienzo recognized the unique charm and engaging qualities of student illustrations found in the handbooks.  While employed as a JKM Library Circulation Assistant, DiRienzo selected a representative sample of student handbook illustrations, crafted a written account of their charm, and designed this online exhibit to facilitate their enjoyment.
